Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how KerosTrading ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on kerostrading.com.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to site owners. We also use browser localStorage for similar purposes (e.g. remembering your cookie consent choice).
2. Your Consent
When you first visit our Site, a cookie consent banner appears in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You may Accept All or Declinenon-essential cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage under the key kt-cookie-consent and can be changed at any time by clearing your browser storage and revisiting the Site.
Analytics cookies are only loaded afteryou click "Accept All". Strictly necessary functionality works regardless of your choice.
3. Types of Cookies and Technologies We Use
- Strictly necessary: Required for the Site to function — for example, storing your cookie consent preference. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics (Umami): We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool self-hosted at
umami.kerostrading.com. Umami does not use traditional cookies; it relies on a session hash derived from anonymised information (IP address, user-agent, and a daily salt). No personal data is stored, no cross-site tracking occurs, and data is never sold or shared with third parties. Umami also respects the browser's Do Not Track (DNT) signal. These analytics are only activated with your consent. - Third-party cookies: When you sign up or sign in via Whop, Whop may set cookies under its own policy. TradingView and other embedded tools may also set cookies.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing analytics data is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing localStorage in your browser settings. Strictly necessary processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies and localStorage through your browser settings — block all cookies, clear storage, or use private/incognito mode. Note that disabling storage may affect the functionality of this and other websites. Your consent preference will be reset when storage is cleared.
